Vocational Training Diploma on Electrical and Hybrid Vehicles/ECO-CAR project (Erasmus Plus CBHE, 618509-EPP-1-2020-1-JO-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) was launched on 22nd January 2020.
The primary purpose of ECO-CAR project is to develop the capacities in the field of Electrical and Hybrid cars in Jordan, and bring together and strengthen the cooperation between companies and HEIs through empowering the engineers with needed skills in that meet the market need. In this context, the main scope is to equip the engineers with the needed practical skills in the field of EV and HEV and qualify them to local, regional and international markets, through developing a professional diploma and integrate some of these courses within existing programmes. Through this diploma, students will get the needed skills to maintain and operate Electric and Hybrid vehicles with appropriate knowledge in the fields of climate change, vehicle manufacturing systems, and life cycle assessment.
The project consortium includes 14 partner institutions from Jordan, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Greece and Italy. The University of Deusto is leading the Quality and Impact Evaluation of the project, which is essential to ensure that the methodologies are appropriate and meet the accreditation in Jordan. This will be done by peer reviewing and evaluating the competences and courses, virtual learning platform and portal, dissemination and exploitation activities and the courses accreditation. The milestones are the completion of the evaluations. An external evaluator will be appointed to evaluate the project progress.
In line with the project’s proposal, the consortium of the Erasmus+ project entitled “Vocational Training Diploma on Electrical and Hybrid Vehicles” with the acronym “Eco-Car” is looking to hire one External Evaluator, to monitor and evaluate the project’s implementation and ensure the quality and consistency of the project deliverables.
